Is Kratom Legal in the USA?

Although the fight continues, Kratom is still legal in the majority of the United States.
Much of this is due to the hard work by the American Kratom Association and the large kratom community who always show up to support the important freedom of access and choice to this vital leaf. When the FDA or state governments think they know better than the people there’s not much choice but to push back.
The science shows kratom has no place on a scheduled or banned list and history shows natives of Southeast Asia have used the kratom leaf for thousands of years without problems therefore this is a fight that’s on the side of kratom enthusiasts.

What if I live in a place Kratom is banned?

You can help reverse a ban in your area by contacting your state representatives, enough pressure can lead to real change. Easily find your representative’s contact information here.  Call them, email them, write them letters, whatever you feel up to just “bug” them as much as possible.
Remember to always be respectful and stick to facts, tell them why kratom is helpful to you personally.
Check at the American Kratom Association website for more help and current campaigns that will make the most difference.

In the mean time there’s a couple things you can do if you need to get kratom now but live in a banned state or area.
1. If you live any where near the border of a state that kratom is legal making a trip and stocking up could be well worth it. Along the same lines, buying online is possible by setting up a PO Box out of state, again just take a trip every once in while and stock up as much as your budget allows. You can freeze kratom to prolong its life or even just storing kratom in a cool, dry place with no sun exposure can make it last for a very long time.

2. Find someone you trust out of state that can order for you and have product shipped to them. From there you can arrange to get it from them however works best for you. This can be a bit more expensive and time consuming but again could be well worth the trouble given the situation.
